Welcome to the outdoor soccer season. The number of children participating in our programs continues to soar and with this growth we need your help! Please offer to give your child’s coach a bit of assistance on the sideline where needed. Keeping kids organized takes a team effort! Thanks in advance for your efforts & cooperation this year. PLAY FAIR! Be a role model of good sportsmanship and show all players, coaches, refs, and fans respect. Read and discuss the WSA Fair Play Code with your child.

GAME CANCELLATION LINE: “306-842-1036” Please call the Cancellation Line to determine if soccer is cancelled. Soccer will be cancelled due to rain, lightning or if wet fields are unsafe to play on. We will not be canceling soccer due to cold or windy conditions. We will be leaving a cancellation message and on our website by 4 pm if soccer is cancelled. Please DO NOT call your coach or Division Head.  In the event of a lightning storm during soccer a WSA member will sound the horn and all players, coaches and family members are to leave the fields immediately.  Parents will be emailed or texted to pick up children.

EQUIPMENT: Shin guards are mandatory for all players. Dress appropriately with sneakers or cleats, sweats or shorts and wear layers. Children without appropriate footwear or shin guards will not be allowed to play. That means no sandals, crocs, rubber boots or bare feet. Also no hats or jewelry are allowed, with the exception of medical alert bracelets.

SOCCER SHIRTS: Rec league T-Shirts are yours to keep after the season is over. Please thank your shirt sponsors for supporting our programs!
